We suggest adding this just under the body tag of your page. If you do not want this behavior then do not add the cycle-slideshow class to your slideshow and instead initalize the slideshow programmatically by invoking the cycle method on the slideshow container element: ( '.mySlideshows' ). Speed of cycle and speed of fade are also options along with the background color to show while the first image is loading as well as the max number of times to cycle. Cycle2 will automatically find and initialize a slideshow for any element that contains this classname. We allow a single image to be used which will not fire the cycler code but will just create the CSS for the background image. The others should be cached in the browser so that they load rapidly when requested again. ![]() To keep the memory footprint small we only have two images loaded in the DOM at any time. The plugin does not load the images until after the DOM is loaded allowing Google and Bing to see a fast page load time. jQuery Time Slider is a jQuery plugin to create sliders with selection of time and date. We assume that you will be using large images for page backgrounds so we are careful to only cycle to an image if we can be sure that it is loaded fully so that visitors with slower connections will not see a series of partly loaded images the first trip through. I haven't been able to achieve this by editing the css, and if wrap a![]()
